ASUS ROG Keyboard Replacement Assist and Latency Issue
Hi, I am looking for some help with my Asus ROG gl551jw. I am not extremely computer savvy, only I know plenty to get past most of the time. The laptop is about 1.5 years onetime and information technology is my simply computer. Everything virtually it has been pretty good, though I will probable go a desktop as my next primary calculator considering the limitations of having a laptop have been a major problem for me. Within the first 6 months I had a primal fissure and had to send it in for repair under my warranty. Since my warranty has expired two boosted keys take cracked, but I have managed to tape them together and they are basically unnoticeable. The biggest problem is about a month or two ago I noticed that my A primal was failing. Every so oft it will become unresponsive for no reason lasting a second or two earlier working once again. This has gotten a fleck worse since then and is happening more than often. It is highly aggravating when I play games competetively or when I am typing long texts. Since my warranty has expired I was looking into DIY fixes as I take done on previous laptops. I was planning on buying an unabridged replacement keyboard and I plant some through Google. Before I did this though I wanted to see how difficult information technology would exist to replace. I couldn't find whatever exact tutorials on replacing the keyboard, but I plant some on opening upwards the laptop in general. I managed to disassemble the laptop without a problem, merely the issue was that unlike other laptops I've had, I had to literally accept out everything else before I could even get to the keyboard. One time I finally got to the keyboard I discovered it is then heavily stuck on with record and other things that I had no thought how to take it off. So fifty-fifty if I bought the new keyboard it doesn't seem I'd be able to adhere information technology. Additionally, once I put everything back together and logged into a game I found I was getting worse ping plus frequent lag spikes that I've never had before. I have the net hardwired into the laptop by the mode, not wifi. Basically the whole disassemble was a waste of time and information technology seems something new has broken considering of information technology even though I was extremely gentle. I am hoping someone tin can tell me if I did something incorrect and at that place is a mode to remove and replace the current keyboard. Also what could I accept washed wrong to crusade the new lag? I don't take the funds to buy a whole new computer at the moment, merely if it was really necessary I could send it in to a professional to be fixed (how long could that take/how much would it price?). I attached two images. One is the back of the keyboard from the inside of the laptop and the other is from the outside. I remember y'all can get your local computer guy to have it replaced for you, or yous tin social club online and follow the video tutorials to try and do information technology yourself
